Monitors the cants at the outfeed as they transition from a linear to a transverse position, between primary and secondary breakdown. Detects misaligned, skewed, or improperly positioned pieces and sends an alert to the PLC when a cant is not correctly positioned, so operators can correct the issue. The same system also enables the indexation of pieces on the stopping arms or other positioning devices.
