Prince George, BC May 5, 2022<\/strong> \u2013 BID Group is pleased to announce it has received an order from Dunkley Lumber to deliver a sawmill modernization project for its Edgewood Forest Products operation in Saskatchewan. Through its industry-leading wood processing technologies and integrated solutions offering, BID will manage, design, build, equip, install, and provide start-up services for the project.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are excited to partner again with the BID team to apply their industry-leading turnkey solutions to the Edgewood modernization project,\u201d <\/em>said Dunkley Lumber President, Rob Novak. \u201cThis project will deploy the best complement of BID\u2019s state-of-the-art technologies to expand and upgrade the facility and enhance our ability to deliver the highest quality products<\/em> our customers count on from Dunkley Lumber.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

The project will include a new saw line, trim line, and complete lumber handling system in the sawmill along with two new dry kilns. The project will feature a full spectrum of BID\u2019s best-in-class sawmilling technologies including software, automation systems, and Artificial Intelligence enabled optimization. BID\u2019s Integrated Solutions Team will provide the design, engineering, planning, fabrication, and installation services for this Turnkey project.<\/p>\n
